Anti-war protesters terrorize Catholic Church on Easter

By ldutson - Posted on 24 March 2008

The example of MoveOn.org, CodePink, Americans Against Escalation in Iraq, and the like continues to manifest itself in despicable ways across the country. This video shows a group of protesters interrupting a Catholic mass in Chicago to spray fake blood over themselves and the people attending the mass, and shriek and scream about the war in Iraq:

When people voice concern over MoveOn.org's money and influence in Maine politics, this is what they are concerned about. The Democrat politicians in Maine that are opening the door to these groups need to understand that the public is educated about the tactics they use, and they reject them outright.

I have no idea what ties this group has to MoveOn or CodePink, but they are using the identical tactics these groups have used in the past, and are no doubt following their example. There are civil ways to voice concern over the war and foreign policy issues, and at some point the good citizens with earnest opposition to the war in Iraq will be sufficiently grossed out, tired of being associated with maniacs like this, and they will tell MoveOn and their pals to take a hike.

Until then, we can thank Chellie Pingree, Tom Allen, and the rest of the 'progressives' in Maine for paving the way for this type of nonsense to come to Maine.
